Dog Leg Preacher will be filming their entire trip to Sturgis, including all the people,places and things we encounter along the Way. Dog Leg Preacher will be producing this film in a movie format. We are plannig to have it ready for release upon return from Sturgis in August. Stayed tuned for a good adventure.

The addition of Dane Kane on bess guitar has been working nicely. This new lineup is really taking shape. As a matter of fact the band is so hot right now we have decided to totally re-cut the second CD. we are also planning on adding several new cuts to the project at the same time. Marcelo and Dan both have some material that we will be looking at this week. Thursday nights at JR Phinickeys are going well. The crowd is getting bigger every week. This coming week will be a busy one for us, as we plan to get allot of recording done. As well as making improvements to our gear and stage show.

Dog Leg Preacher is proud to announce the signing of Marcelo Portaro. DLP recently signed the Peruvian guitar legend for an undisclosed amount. Dog Leg has annouced the plans to get some tracks from Marcelo on the web by summers end at the latest. While relatively unknown in the United States, Marcelo’s playing easily brings to mind such guitar greats as Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. Check back often as his will be a talent not to miss.

Yes indeed those guys know how to kick out the old School Metal. It was great to play with a band of this caliber. A couple of really cool things happened at this show. We met up with C.J, from Fractured Industries, and Kevin from live Nation. We will be working with both of these organizations in the immediate future. C.J. has already hooked us up with a Friday night show at Fuel in Seattle, as well as helping us with our flyers for the upcoming show at the Spar Tree in Granite Falls.

Dragoni just called to let Dog Leg Preacher know that they are confirmed to play the ABATE of Washington Spring Opener 2008. Everyone is very excited. This is the biggest and baddest biker party in the entire state. The party happens in Toppenish WA June 12th thru the 15th. Well it is almost August. The Dog Leg guys are trying hard to finish up this album so it can be released.Things have been very busy. There seems to be a lot of interest in the band right know. Case in point, it has taken 2 hours to write this little blurb, with all the phone calls coming in, and this is a sunday night. Some very interesting developments happening right know, so stay tuned.     The show at Eli’s went pretty well, with the exception of blowing up a power amp that took out or high frequency drivers.That made things a little rough sounding, but we gat through the night and the crowd was great. We would like to thank all of you who showed up. Now its back to work for the upcoming show at sound Harley Davidson on June 30th. This will be an all ages event, and we are expecting a big crowd as we compete for our chance to play at Sturgis. This will be a fun show and we would like to see all of you there.

Well it has been quite a while since our last report, we have been extremely busy. In the past several months we have played numerous shows, TV appearances, etc.

      Woody brings years of industry expierence, a great set of ears, tons of marvelous equipment, and an unparalleled positive attitude and great work ethic to our team. “Thanks Woody, you are the man”

  We are now finishing the artwork......and necessary paper work, to bring about the release. We are hoping for mid June.

    We have been quite busy rehearsing the live show as well. With the additions of Karen and Pam in the sound and light department, things are going quite well.

    The work now will begin on the DLP promo video. We hope to have something up within the month.

    We would also like to acknowledge our new legal representative Jay Pulliam.  It is great to add Jay to the Team.

    There are also several other items of exciting news that must remain top secret for now. But we will be hoping to make these soon.

Well we are now in October. Still working hard on the lights and stage show. We are also working out the details of performing the material from the new album live. There has been a slight delay in the album as we are trying to get the last track finished prior to mixdown.  We wil also be performing live at Jimmy Z’s in Everett on friday november 3rd. Well well. The shirts are selling better than we ever expected. The new album is rapidly approaching completion. Best of all for this month is we have added to the Stage show....... yes a good quantity of brand new stage lights. We are all very excited about this.  We will be looking forward to showing the new system off in some upcoming shows. As well as in some video clips that we intend on uploading here soon.
